  21. I suggest you buy a PC-Powersupply and solder the Amiga-powerplug to it...

  23. Seagate ST5xxxxA are slim 3.5" drives that fit rather easy in an A1200...
  24. They are less than 1" in height...No need to cut anything...

  26. For example : ST5850A (850MB), ST51080A (1GB), ST51270A (1.2GB), ???.

  28. The Seagates I had (and have) start without the need to reset...Some others
  29. don't start when switching on the computer like : Western Digitals, Conners,
  30. etc...

  32. What you need to fit a 3.5" HD in your A1200 :
  33.  
  34. - Adapter/cable 2.5" --> 3.5"
  35. - Powersupply cable floppy-drive --> Harddrive
  36. - Some knowledge of electronics...(you need to know that you have to insulate
  37. the harddrives' PCB, otherwise strange things can happen...)
  38. - Luck (for buying the right drive...;-))
