- I suggest you buy a PC-Powersupply and solder the Amiga-powerplug to it...
-
- Seagate ST5xxxxA are slim 3.5" drives that fit rather easy in an A1200...
- They are less than 1" in height...No need to cut anything...
-
- For example : ST5850A (850MB), ST51080A (1GB), ST51270A (1.2GB), ???.
-
- The Seagates I had (and have) start without the need to reset...Some others
- don't start when switching on the computer like : Western Digitals, Conners,
- etc...
-
- What you need to fit a 3.5" HD in your A1200 :
-
- - Adapter/cable 2.5" --> 3.5"
- - Powersupply cable floppy-drive --> Harddrive
- - Some knowledge of electronics...(you need to know that you have to insulate
- the harddrives' PCB, otherwise strange things can happen...)
- - Luck (for buying the right drive...;-))
-
-
- Hope this is of any help !

- WARNING : If you have no knowledge of electronics, then ask a friend who does.
- The friend MUST like Amiga computers otherwise he/she might kill it...
- Amiga's are *very* *sensitive* to static discharges !
